patches for Ruby 1.9

Reported by Fumihiro Kato | February 21st, 2010 @ 03:53 PM

This library does not work with Ruby 1.9 because Ruby 1.9 treats a unicode escape strictly
and does not need require 'parsedate'. The attached patches fix these two issues and work
with both 1.8.7 and 1.9.1. Could you check and apply them?

    I've updated the gem for 1.9.1 and fixed a number of issues in Unicode generation already. I've also made some changes to support 1.8.6.

    I'm trying to get some other comprehensive changes to Notation-3/Turtle parsing complete before performing the update. The next version will be 0.5.0, which I should have up shortly.

    The 'parsedate' issue you mentioned is only one of the isues: \U00nnnnnn were not treated right either. Support for \U vs \u Unicode literal characters will be limited to version 1.9.1 and greater.

    I just pushed out 0.5.0 with this, and many other changes. Check out the History file on GitHub for more details on the release.

    Many thanks. The latest version works with both Ruby 1.8.7 and 1.9.1 now.

RdfContext is an RDF library for Ruby.

RdfContext parses RDF/XML, RDFa and N3-rdf into a Graph object. It also serializes RDF/XML and N-Triples from the Graph.

* Fully compliant RDF/XML parser.
* Fully compliant XHTML/RDFa 1.0 parser.
* N3-rdf parser
* N-Triples and RDF/XML serializer
* RDFa tests use SPARQL for most tests due to Rasqal limitations. Other tests compare directly against N-triples.
* Graph serializes into RDF/XML and N-Triples.
* ConjunctiveGraph, named Graphs and contextual storage modules.

Install with 'gem install rdf_context'
